SECOND GENERATION

9. ABNER BARTLETT. ABNER and his family went to Danby, VT in 1798. He was a blacksmith and worked with his brother Jacob who had come there three years earlier. ABNER died of smallpox in 1801, leaving a family of nine children.

He was married to Drusilla Smith BARTLETT. Lydia and Mary were twins. Drusilla Smith BARTLETT was born in Smithville, Rhode Island. ABNER BARTLETT and Drusilla Smith BARTLETT had the following children:
